The Role
We are looking for volunteers to join our team of Knitters and Makers! Could you knit or crochet blankets to keep our animals warm. We can sometimes provide donated wool when it is in stock, which can be collected from the shelter.
Blankets need to be approximately 20 inches/50 cms square or larger, we are happy with any colour and design of your choice as our Kitty Kats really do not mind. Your finished blankets will help our furry friends keep warm all year round.
Makers: Do you have a passion for making things or a creative flair? We are always looking for people who would be able to make items to be used at the centre or within our charity shops – these could be things like; signage, tablecloths – for events, chicken coops, rabbit hutches. We appreciate anything small or large.
Skills
All abilities of knitters/ crocheters very welcome.
Hours
You can commit as much or as little time as you like.
Who
This is a great role for those who enjoy crafts making whilst volunteering to help animals.
