Help Make Every Tail Wag and Every Whisker Twitch This Christmas!
Christmas is a magical time — but for the animals spending it here at RSPCA Sheffield, it can also be a lonely one. This year, we’re asking our incredible supporters to help us make sure every cat and dog in our care feels loved, special and remembered.
There are two wonderful ways you can help:
- Make a Christmas Donation
Your gift will help us care for the many dogs and cats who’ll be spending Christmas with us this year — providing warmth, food, love and everything they need until they find their forever home. Every pound really does make a difference.
- Create a Christmas Shoebox for an Animal
If you’d prefer to give something hands-on, you can fill a shoebox with goodies for one of the animals in our care. Label it clearly for a dog or a cat, decorate it if you wish, and fill it with love (and a few treats!).
- Treatos for cats and dogs – all different brands, kinds and sizes!
- Hot dogs or squeezey cheese for pooches
- Tuna for cats
- Balls and small toys for doggies
You can also add some soft toys as well as small toys for cats like cat nip mice, balls of all different textures.
Feel free to decorate the boxes too, the more festive the better!
Drop-Off Details
Please bring your shoeboxes to our Animal Centre any day except Wednesday and Sunday, between 10am and 3pm.
We kindly ask that boxes aren’t left in our outdoor donation bins, so they stay safe and just as you made them.

Our dedicated team will be here throughout the festive season — even on Christmas Day — making sure every animal receives care, comfort and a reason to wag, purr or play.
