We have been keeping a teeny tiny secret from you all… in the form of a now little whirlwind! Here’s our Rupert!!!!! As you can see from our photos Rupert’s life hasn’t been easy. This little Jack Russell came into our care as it was the best thing for him so he could get round the clock care from one of our amazing team members who is also a fabulous and dedicated hand rear foster carer. Rupert was a third of the size of his siblings and without intervention sadly we don’t think he would have survived much longer. He was so heartbreakingly small and fragile weighing only 700 grams and aged between 4 and 6 weeks. At one point, he was so runt-like, so incredibly tiny, that every day felt like a battle for him. We genuinely feared he might not make it. But Rupert had other plans. He fought. He grew. And he kept going. Today, Rupert weighs a proud 2kg, is fully vaccinated, full of love, and we thought, finally ready for a forever home. His spirit is bigger than his body has ever been and we are so unbelievably proud of him… a terrier lover is going to love the razzle dazzle Rupert has to offer, that’s for sure! 💔 But Rupert has one more hurdle to face. During a recent check-up, the vet discovered a heart murmur. To understand what’s going on and give him the best chance at a long, happy life, Rupert urgently needs a full cardio scan and work-up. We’ve been quoted £920.56 for this, a huge amount for our rescue, but something Rupert absolutely deserves. We have fought for him from day one, and we stop, not until he has his happy ever after! Now, we’re asking for a little help so we can continue giving him the care he needs. 🐾 Rupert has fought so hard. 🐾 Please help us fight for him.
